These Regulations defines the rules and conditions for providing services in the field of receiving, transporting and delivering parcels by Witz Delivery.

Sender – a person who orders Witz Delivery to send a parcel to the indicated address

Recipient – ​​the person indicated in the Shipping Confirmation as the entity to whom the parcel is to be delivered at the Delivery Place.

Delivery Place – the exact place of delivery of the parcel specified in the Shipping Confirmation.

Witz Delivery is fully responsible for transporting the parcel intact. Witz Delivery is responsible for damage caused by the courier.

The service fee will be charged to the person ordering the transport or delivery service.


The service can be ordered by an adult over 18 years of age.

Our insurance covers the cost of up to € 500 in the event of destruction or damage to the shipment due to the fault of Witz Delivery.

WitzDelivery is not responsible for the theft of the delivered goods/animal from a parked car

WE DO NOT TRANSPORT PARCELS CONTAINING PROHIBITED OR ILLEGAL ITEMS IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. THE COURIER HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE PARCEL. SUSPICIOUS PARCELS OR PARCELS WHICH DURING TRANSPORT ARE FOUND TO CONTAIN ILLEGAL ITEMS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO THE GARDA WITH FULL DETAILS OF THE SENDER AND THE RECIPIENT.

We do not transport flammable or chemically hazardous liquid substances and any Dangerous Goods Classes.


The driver has the right to withdraw from the service at any time.
All additional fees incurred by the driver during the service will be added to the invoice or issued as a separate invoice to the order number.
By accepting the regulations before making an inquiry, you declare that you have read the entire regulations.

DOOR to DOOR

Glass and other delicate items should be properly secured by the sender and clearly marked as "FRAGILE" in a place visible to the courier.

Shipment containing liquid approved for transport by Witz Delivery regulations should be tightly closed and secured for transport in a container adapted to the type of liquid.
A parcel with liquid must also be properly marked in a place visible to the courier.


Single standard package – The sum of all sides cannot exceed 200 cm and weigh 35 kg. In the case of liquid content, the package description should include information about the content and type of liquid. In the event of the parcel being unsealed during transport and other parcels being flooded and damaged, the sender of the parcel will be charged with the costs of covering the damage/losses.

Single non-standard parcel - Transport details and the price for transport of non-standard parcels are determined individually. In the case of liquid content, please provide information about the content and type of liquid in the package description. In the event of the parcel being unsealed during transport and other parcels being flooded and damaged, the sender of the parcel will be charged with the costs of covering the damage/losses.


Pallets


Euro pallet – The size of the Euro pallet cannot be larger than 120cmX80cm  and height 130cm. If one, two or three Euro pallets are sent, the total weight cannot exceed 1400kg. In the case of a liquid shipment, the type of liquid should be included in the package description. In the event of the parcel being unsealed during transport and flooding and damage to other parcels, the sender of the parcel will be charged with the costs of covering the damage/losses.

Other pallets - Transport details and the price for transporting non-standard pallets is determined individually. In the case of liquid shipment, the description should include information about type of liquid. In the event of the parcel being unsealed during transport and flooding and damage to other parcels, the sender of the parcel will be charged with the costs of covering the damage/losses.

Other shipments - Transport details and the price for transporting other shipments is determined individually. In the case of liquid shipment, please provide information about the content and type of liquid. In the event of the parcel being unsealed during transport and flooding and damage to other parcels, the sender of the parcel will be charged with the costs of covering the damage/losses.

SHOPPING


The service can be ordered by a person aged 18 or over.
The shopping service only covers food, tobacco and alcohol.


When purchasing alcohol or tobacco products, the courier may ask the recipient for an ID card or other document confirming that he or she is over 18 years of age upon delivery.
If the recipient refuses or if the recipient is under 18 years of age, the delivery will not be made and the person ordering the shopping service will be charged with delivery costs and an additional fee of € 50.


The total amount of a single purchase cannot exceed 300e.


The service fee will be charged to the person receiving the service.

CLICK & Collect

​

When performing the click and collect service, WitzDelivery is obliged to collect the parcel on behalf of the person listed in the store as a person authorized to collect the order.
All received goods will be delivered to the person indicated on the order and to the address provided when placing the order.


In the event of incomplete or incorrect details for selecting the shipment or if the dimensions of the shipment make it impossible to complete the order, WitzDelivery will refrain from fully processing the order and will charge the customer a one-time fee of € 50.

REMOVALS

​

Witz Delivery provides transport services from/to the place specified in the order.


Glass and other delicate items should be properly secured by the sender and clearly marked as "FRAGILE" in a place visible to the courier.
All furniture must have doors and drawers secured against accidental opening during transport.
All boxes must be taped.


All household appliances that are not factory packed are not subject to complaints for mechanical damage incurred during transport.


By accepting the regulations, the sender declares that he is the owner of the items covered by the removals service or has the owner's legal consent to transport from the place of pickup to the place of delivery and declares that the items are not stolen

PET TRANSPORT

 

All parties to the contract, including the breeder, consignor, consignee or any other party who places the booking with Witz DELIVERY shall be held to be the owner and are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and to be jointly and severally liable for any additional costs that may be incurred on their behalf during the transport. Any person who contracts Witz DELIVERY to conduct any such transport, makes payment for transport services or delivers an animal to Witz DELIVERY for the purpose of transport, including if they are not the owner, warrants to Witz DELIVERY that they have the authority of the owner to do so and that they accept these Terms & Conditions.

 

 

The Owner agrees that Witz Delivery may determine whether an Animal requires emergency treatment for any condition at any time the Animal is in the possession of Witz Delivery. Whilst, Witz Delivery will endeavour to contact the Owner to advise of the emergency and proposed course of treatment, the Owner agrees that if such contact is not feasible, that Witz Delivery shall be authorised to determine and approve any necessary treatment, at the cost of the Owner.

 

For transporting pregnant animals you agree that a veterinary certificate is to be provided stating that the animal is fit for travel or you must accept the risk yourself.

 

If your animal is sick or injured you must provide a veterinary certificate stating it is fit to travel.

 

Where sedatives are needed or specifically requested, sedatives are STRICTLY to be arranged by the client and prescribed and issued by client’s own veterinarian. Driver will not be held responsible for over dosage, any side effects or death due to poorly administered sedatives.

PAYMENTS

The person placing the order is responsible for paying for the service provided.
Payment can be made online on the day of order confirmation or you can pay to the driver in cash/card at the pickup or delivery point.




COMPLAINTS

The customer may submit complaints regarding the service provided due to destruction/damage or loss of goods up to 7 days from the date of service.
After 7 days, complaints will not be accepted.
